The revolutionary concert-series, LATE-NIGHT SINFONIE, returns to fuses club culture with classical music in the awe-inspiring industrial space of MAHALLA BERLIN, presenting a dreamy programme of musical soul pictures by the timeless romantic composers, Strauss, Wagner and Bruckner. Alongside world-class soprano, Marlis Petersen, and their rising-star conductor Joolz Gale, the 15 supersonic-soloists of Freigeist Ensemble perform a luscious programme focused on “TRAUMGEKRÖNT”, Rilke’s vision of a night so emotionally-charged that it blurs the line between dream and reality. In this alternative sound-world of intimacy, dreams and spirituality, the audience hears powerful symphonic works from a wholly new perspective, newly-arranged for chamber orchestra. This colourful programme of song and symphony, ending in Bruckner’s magical 6th Symphony, is offered in between the atmospheric light and seductive electronic sounds of conceptual genius, Max Jurisch, who joins as DJ and producer.

Recent winner of the OPUS Klassik, Freigeist Ensemble is a courageous collective of supersonic soloists from German symphony orchestras that repackages super symphonic music for new audiences. Often commissioning world premiere arrangements for innovative late-night projects, its mission is to revolutionise the style, sound and setting of classical concerts. This began in 2010 with “mini-Mahler” at Berlin’s Philharmonie Kammermusiksaal, followed by “Strauss 150: New Perspectives” at STATTBAD Berlin, “From Russia with Soul” at Griessmühle Berlin, “Bartók Beyond Borders” at Musikbrauerei Berlin and, most recently, “Late-Night Sinfonie” in collaboration with club partners in Hamburg and Berlin.
Upcoming album releases in 2026 feature the ensemble’s new series of live audio and film concerts from the Meistersaal Berlin in collaboration with EuroArts.
Delta Rain is the founder of Radiance and co-curator of Sanctum Of Sound, two platforms exploring sound as ritual, suspension, and collective perception. Across both artistic and curatorial practice, the work investigates electronic music as an experiential medium, where memory, presence, and altered states of listening become central to the act itself.
