SANCTUM OF SOUND IS A MUSICAL FORUM FOR LISTENERS OF AMBIENT, DEVOTIONAL, ELECTRONIC, EXPERIMENTAL, AND PSYCHEDELIC MUSIC.
Curated and produced by the MaHalla team, Sanctum of Sound takes place on the first Sunday of every month, transforming MaHalla into a sanctuary of music and sound for 8 immersive hours. Dedicated to the art of creation and transmission, it offers a space for deep listening and sonic exploration.
The next edition unfolds on Sunday, August 2nd from 2 PM to 10 PM, featuring performances by Delta Rain, Tonbo & Moriaariava, Mario Verandi, Hannes Kretzer, Cleymoore & Rubi.

2PM : Delta Rain
Delta Rain is the founder of Radiance and curator of Sanctum Of Sound, two platforms exploring sound as ritual, suspension, and collective perception. Across both artistic and curatorial practice, the work investigates electronic music as an experiential medium, where memory, presence, and altered states of listening become central to the act itself.

3:30PM : Tonbo & Moriaariava
Tonbo and Moriaariava are an ambient/experimental musical duo. Tonbo plays modular synthesizers and the Bansuri flute, while Moriaariava performs on the guzheng (Chinese zither), percussion, and piano. They frequently collaborate with the Japanese interdisciplinary art collective NADA.
Together, they host immersive, live improvisation soundscapes set to NADA's hypnotic, kaleidoscopic video works and water cymatics.

5:30PM : Mario Verandi
Mario Verandi is an argentinean-born composer, producer and sound artist living in Berlin. His work focus on the use of new technologies as an aid to exploring sound, space and perception. Mario Verandi´s output is wide-ranging and include electroacoustic and experimental music, music in modern classical and ambient style, live electronic performances as well as sound installations.
He has also collaborations with several musician and artists. Mario Verandis works have been performed worldwide in events such as Multiphonies GRM (Paris), Donaueschinger Musiktage (Germany), Kontakte Berlin, MaerzMusik (Berlin) and Festival Futura (France).

7:30PM : Hannes Kretzer
Hannes Kretzer explores sound as a reflection of perception, shaping and distorting sonic material into immersive, personal worlds. Influenced by early synthesizer pioneers, his work moves between meditative ambient and elements of pop, bringing together contrasting approaches through a focus on dynamics, evolving structures, and spatial depth.

9PM : Cleymoore & Rubi
Cleymoore and Rubi are Berlin-based artists, DJs, producers, and curators working across electronic music, sound art, visual culture, and collective listening.
Both are part of Rings of Neptune and co-curate Feedback Waves, a label dedicated to releasing music on vinyl for the first time, beginning with a 1995 work by iconic Japanese artist Palomatic. Cleymoore is also the founder of Pluie/Noir and produces experimental music as Max Binski, while Rubi co-runs Flubi Disks, produces as part of Flubi Doo, and curates listening projects including Anchor Point and Musical Autobiographies.
Connected by a shared interest in record collecting, atmosphere, and the emotional power of sound, they will perform a hybrid live set combining selections, live electronics, texture, and improvisation at Sanctum of Sound on August 2.
