UNRUHE IS A GROUP EXHIBITION ABOUT THE STATE FROM WHICH ART EMERGES. ITS FOCUS IS NOTTHE POLITICAL PRESENT BUT THAT INNER RESTLESSNESS WHICH OFTEN ACCOMPANIES ARTISTIC WORK FOR A LONG TIME BEFORE IT BECOMES VISIBLE.

BIOGRAPHY

Kali Meri is a Berlin-based multidisciplinary artist active within the city’s underground art and rave culture. Her work spans painting, installation, stage design and digital art, often building futuristic, utopian and dystopian environments. Through collaborations rooted in the Fraktion Nimmersatt network and related projects, she creates immersive visual settings that connect nightlife, performance and installation. In the MaHalla context she appears in collaboration with M.T.S.K., extending this practice through collective production.
