About

In a world that grows ever louder, UNRUHE creates a space for what is essential. Not to explain the world. But to let us see it differently, if only for a moment. Because art connects where language divides. It makes visible what we have long felt, but cannot yet name. UNRUHE is not an exhibition about crises.

It is an exhibition about the power to transform them into beauty.

About

UNRUHE IS A GROUP EXHIBITION ABOUT THE STATE FROM WHICH ART EMERGES. ITS FOCUS IS NOTTHE POLITICAL PRESENT BUT THAT INNER RESTLESSNESS WHICH OFTEN ACCOMPANIES ARTISTIC WORK FOR A LONG TIME BEFORE IT BECOMES VISIBLE.

THERE IS A GARDEN IN HER FACE - Denti

TITLE

Across history, bodies read as feminine have been depicted as carefully cultivated landscapes—to be admired and consumed through the objectifying gaze. Through concealment and gradual revelation, the photographic series “There is a garden in her face” brings this logic into tension with what remains unruly, excessive, and resistant to containment. The garden slowly unravels allowing an irreducible subject to emerge.
