Alex Müller (b. 1969, Düren) is a German visual artist based between Berlin and the Uckermark. Working across painting, drawing, sculpture and site-specific installation, she transforms everyday objects and organic materials into poetic, often enigmatic constellations. Autobiographical memory, German history, the body and the passage of time recur throughout her practice. Her works frequently operate like staged environments in which familiar materials acquire new symbolic and emotional meanings.
