SANCTUM OF SOUND (old)

is a visual and sound artist with harp as their main instrument. Together with electronic music producer Tine Vrabič – Nitz they form a dark ambient duo II/III, they are also a member of Rok Zalokar’s fluid ensemble Zhlehtet and a four-piece experimental noise group Sujevera. Besides their musical engagements they prepare shows and other contributions for Radio Študent, ARS – Radio Slovenia Third Channel, They build their artistic and creative strategy through distinct intermedial activity, preferably in the interweaving of feminist theories and practices. 

Jens Zygar plays gong concerts, gong meditations and uses the gong in therapy as well as in tantra. He has initiated many gong lines and understands this profession like no other. He has been training in integral sound work for many years.
In Constance Mattheus‘s concerts, she touches deeply with her multifaceted voice and, with a profound feeling as a multi-instrumentalist on harp and piano, creates a healing space that leads the listener to her innermost core. With her fine compositions and storytelling, she opens up a space full of heart energy for her listeners with peaceful silence in pure devotion. 

Stefan Charisius, Daniel Schröteler, Gogo Engst and Ralf Schmerberg together form a one time musical collaboration for Sanctum of Sound. Stefan Charisius composes music and songs on the kora, the 21-stringed bridge harp of West Africa. He is one of the few Europeans who can make this instrument sound rhythmically complex and yet fluent, both as a soloist and in various formations.ss with her percussive  instruments and gongs. Daniel Schröteler Is a well known drummer and percussionist who has created his own style of performance. 
Ralf Schmerberg plays the Satellite Dish and creates ancient sounds with his instruments and his voice, and Gogo Engst is a producer and electronic Musician versed in many stiles and disciplines. 

makes „electronic music“ without  computers or rhythm machines, only using synthesizers, samplers and a drum pad. A kind of six-handed experimental DJ that fluctuates the intensity interacting with the energy of the audience.
